The sniper is an integral part of the low-intensity conflict that has plagued Terra Nova.

This picture shows a typical sniper team from the Southern Republic Army. The sniper, on the left, is equipped with a semiautomatic sniper rifle. Most of his body is covered by a camoflauge net, while local foliage is attached to his uniform. A veil covers his face. Standing next to him is his spotter, carrying a bullpup assault rifle. He wears similar camoflauge, without the net. During combat he would spot and identify targets with a high-power spotting scope.
