APAGear II Archives | Volume 2, Number 10 | November, 2000 |
Howdy and welcome to another issue of APAGear II. This month, we attempted to contribute pieces that involved conflict that does not resort to violence. We focused on this subject as an exercise in writing -- it's easy to resolve a fictional confrontation with violence, but, although Heavy Gear is frequently dominated by military action, violence is hardly the only solution.
Notice anything different this month? Aside from the fact that we have nine new articles, up two from last month?
We got ourselves a new host and, coolest of the cool, our own domain name. Actually, Wayne Chang (of APAGear II) and Jon Simola, owners and operators of mecha.com, are providing the host and got us the domain name. I'd like to take this moment to thank both of them for their hard work. Thanks, guys!
(Archivist's Note: The domain name "www.apagear.org" is no longer operating, which is why you're reading this here. - Banzai)
I find I have little else to say this month. Lucky you!
Your Vaguely Humble Servant,
Christian Schaller
APAGear II Distribution Manager
PS: Go see the Charlie's Angels movie. You'll thank yourself. Trust me.
This month, Tom McGrenery, currently in the PRC, steals the Keener like a madman! Tom got his submission in on October 8! Sweet! Harman Meyerhoff takes second this month.
