Words of Questionable Wisdom from the Distribution Manager

Hi, folks.

Another month, another wild issue of APAGear. This month, we have a bunch of fiction plus a Hunter Heavy Gear in remarkable 3D. Go to newcomer Matt Slominski's page right now and check it out! Matt also submitted some blank templates on which you can create your own patterns, but we'll save those for a later date. For now, you can just create over the existing desert scheme.

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, then you haven't gone to his page yet. Do it. Do it now!

I think APAGear might hold a contest in the near future to decorate one (or more) of those things. Don't try submitting anything yet, since I haven't thought through the whole process yet. I imagine some actual prizes of some sort, maybe in two categories: realistic and fanciful. Probably voted on by APAGear members, so APAGear members wouldn't be eligible. But maybe they can be, if they're not involved in the judging.

Like I said, though, that's all some time in the future, so don't send me stuff yet. But do start thinking about it.

Matt also hinted that he'd be working on other models in the future. You might try politely contacting him to try to persuade him to work on your particular favorite Gear. His e-mail address is on his page. Don't tell me you haven't looked at the page yet!

That's all for now. Sorry we're late this month. My fault.

Your Vaguely Humble Servant,

Christian Schaller
APAGear II Distribution Manager

Keener Awards

The keener this month is Phil Lemieux. Harman Meyerhoff is the runner-up. Good work, boys.

New Members

APAGear Welcomes Matt Slominski and Lion Wolf to the crew this month. Welcome aboard, guys.

I'm abandoning the critique assignment page for now, since I've not been generating them in recent issues. That doesn't mean APAGear members are exempt from critiquing, mind you!
