Notes
In a bid to match nuclear capabilities with the West after the Second World War, the Soviet Union built rivet-for-rivet copies of the B-29 as the Tupolev Tu-4 in the late 1940's. More information is available on Wikipedia, as well as the television program Stealing the Superfortress, which airs from time to time on the History Channel.
